11-year-old boy reported missing in NE Portland found safe

PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) - An 11-year-old boy who was reported missing last Tuesday night in northeast Portland has been found.

The Portland Police Bureau said Caidyn “Joseph” Dexter and his mother had just moved to Portland and were staying in a hotel near NE Sandy Boulevard and NE 118th.

Caidyn reportedly left the hotel at around 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. His mother believed he was going to play but Caidyn did not return.

Early Wednesday morning, police said Caidyn had been found safe. No other details were released.
