Fire crews rescue driver after rollover crash in SW Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. (KPTV) - Portland Fire & Rescue crews helped a man injured in a rollover crash Monday while responding to a house fire in the West Hills.

According to PF&R, two fire crews came upon the crash scene while en route to the house fire. A car had rolled over and ended up at the bottom of an overgrown slope.

Firefighters used a rope system to help the driver get back up the hill. He was taken to the hospital to be checked out, but his injuries appeared to be minor.

PF&R said other crews were able to put out the house fire while the rescue was happening.
